Possibly the worst customer service...

The site- beautiful, set very close to Lauder and Thirlestane Castle. Facilities- very clean, no complaints. The wardens- despite filling in the forms and ticking the right boxes we received a barrage of grief from one of the wardens (in front of another guest) because we didn't verbally tell them about our awning and were accused of deliberately misleading them! Very rude and basically comedically idiotic we found another more professional site nearby who had had a last minute cancellation and were able to fit us in. It became obvious to us why they were the only site in the area to still only be half full on Easter weekend, word had spread. Avoid this site- wardens obviously believe they are the lord and lady. They aren't.
